Metamorphousthe (Be Metamorphosed / Transformed)

EN — Transliteration: Metamorphoûsthe

Metamorphousthe (μεταμορφοῦσθε) comes from 'meta' (change) + 'morphe' (essential organic form). It denotes a transformation of the essential nature, from the inside out. It is the opposite of schema: here, the core essence is transfigured.

📖 Réf. : Mt 17:2 | Rom 12:2 | 2 Cor 3:18

Metamorphousthe is the transformation of the morphe (the essence). It is not about modifying behavior to look good, but letting the divine life change our deep nature so it radiates naturally outward.

🐛 The Chrysalis Effect

The Greek word is the root of 'metamorphosis'. It is the biological process of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. In the NT, this transformation is the exclusive product of contemplating the glory of grace (2 Cor 3:18).
