Dialogismos ({literal})

EN — Transliteration: Dialogismós

Dialogismos refers to anxious mental chatter and inner merit calculation that exhaust the soul. Grace dissolves these moral speculations to anchor the mind in the absolute rest of living trust (Pistis).

📖 Réf. : Lc 24:38 | Ph 2:14 | Ro 1:21 | Ro 14:1

1. Etymology & Philology: The Fractured Logos

Dialogismós (διαλογισμός) combines dia- (separation, interval—literally the gap) and logismos (calculation, directly derived from Logos).

Dialogismos is thus the fractured Logos. When human consciousness disconnects from the divine Source, it suffers structural alteration: the Logos (divine Reason and truth of reality) scatters into futility (mataios), producing toxic rationalization and anxious control.

2. Eucharistia: The Bridge Between Agape and Logos (Romans 1:21)

Between Agape (unconditional Love) and Logos (the Structure of Reality), the keystone preventing cognitive collapse is Εὐχαριστία (Eucharistia)—formed of Eu- (good) and Charis (Grace).

Paul highlights this rupture in Romans 1:21: "...they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful (eucharistēsan), but became futile in their reasonings (dialogismoi)..." Refusing gratitude breaks the bridge to Agape, plunging the mind (nous) into dialogismos.

3. Restoration by Grace & Mental Freedom

Freedom from dialogismoi comes by reopening the channel of Eucharistia. By resting in Grace, the mind realigns with the living Logos, extinguishing the monologue of doubt.
